    The Fifth Amendment of the Constitution of United States provides a number of rights which are applicable to criminal and civil proceedings which includes the right of the grand jury to investigate potentially criminal acts before any criminal charges has been enforced, the right to double jeopardy has been prohibited, the right against self-incrimination and the protection against unlawful confiscation of private property without fair compensation by the government.

    However the Fifth amendment do not apply to corporations.
