Betty is watching her older sister play a video game. Betty's older sister demonstrates a particular technique in the game that makes her character do a backflip. Betty watches carefully, noting the exact technique her sister uses. After a few hours, Betty's older sister allows her to play the game and she attempts the technique her sister showed her earlier. Even though Betty is usually very good at video games and remembers how her sister did the move, she can't quite make it work like her sister did, even after practicing for an hour. Betty seems to be missing some important detail. Which process best explains why Betty is unable to make her character do a backflip? A. lack of attention B. lack of retention C. lack of reproduction D. lack of motivation

Betty is suffering from lack of reproduction because although she is motivated and remembers the move, she cannot quite reproduce the action.
