The characteristic most exemplified in a persuasion of a political candidate would be that of inducement also called coaxing. When a candidate persuades his or her audience he or she is trying to convince the people that his or her way is the best way. Their way of persuasion often includes showing gratitude towards an audience first, speaking in affirmative and confident ways and being cocky.
