A child (like all children) gets dizzy after going excessively fast on a merry go round. The next

time the child sees the merry go round, they feel queasy.

    Most likely, the child will feel queasy because of the memory of feeling dizzy in the merry go round. This is also because of one of our brains key functions. This function alerts the body of danger and to basically be prepared because of a memory.
