Human rights are violated in many ways. Not only the difference of pay between women and men violated this. It is also when "different" types of people are treated differently. For example, when one ethnicity of people is caught stealing, they would be shot or arrested right away. But it is not the same for another ethnicity.
The basic human right is violated when we can't peacefully protest without being questioned for our beliefs. It's violated when we cant pray or worship to our own God without being thought of as crazy or being assaulted or even killed. It's violated every day and we don't notice it.
