    Two-factor theory

    Explanation:

The two-factor theory also called the Sachter singer theory of emotions. This is also called a cognitive theory of emotions. In this theory, the physiological arousal occurs first then the person finds out the reason behind the arousal to experience and then the subject labels the emotions.

A stimulus leads to the physiological response then cognitively interpreted and then labeled it in emotion. Sachter singer theory is drawn from both previous theories named James Lange theory and Cannon-Bard theory.

Thus Martin found himself on a level of two-factor theory.
