    The correct answer is B. The king was a tyrant who used violence against the Romans. The kings of Rome had characteristics similar to those of the Greek tyrants. During the monarchy Rome was governed by seven kings who belonged to two dynasties: the Etruscan and the Latin. The king had absolute power, was at the same time judge, military leader and supreme priest.
