    The Right Honorable Sir John Alexander Macdonald P. C., G. C. B., Q. C., D. C. L., LL. D. was the first prime minister of Canada. He served his people for about 23 years. He was born on January 11, 1815 in Scotland. He worked as a lawyer and had become the leader of liberal-conservative party. On the other hand, first premier of Quebec, Canada was Pierre-Joseph-Olivier Chauveau. He was from the conservative party as well. He served for 6 years (1867-1873) and resigned in 1873 as he moved to federal politics.
