An adult wild mouse has 40 chromosomes. It will have chromosomes in its sperm cells. A mouse zygote will have chromosomes.

    A male wild mouse will have 20 chromosomes per sperm cell,

    a mouse zygote will have chromosomes because it's a fertilised egg cell.
