Woodrow Wilson was against the war and had qualms about USA's involvement in it.

    Explanation:

President Wilson woes the fact that the American people have had to be involved in the World War as until then they did not meddle in the affairs of other countries but that had to change now that they were an integral part of the war.

Wilson after this put much of his efforts in containing and preventing such conflicts from happening again by proposing A League of Nations to stop such tensions to arise again between the powers.
