After the conquest and settlement, Latin America or Spanish America monopolized the trade of Mexico and other South American countries. Some of the resources that were exported from Spanish America are cereals, coffee copper, sugar, some precious metals as well as limestone, especially from Mexico. This exploitation has, over the course of history, led to the fact that in their time, the colonial powers were some of the most advanced in the world. Cotton clothes and silk were exported from other countries, such as China, India, while the most famous mines of gold that were exploited were located in Africa.

    The answer is: D.

FOR SURE D. Limestone. The Gulf of Mexico is HUGE for its limestone.

Not A because cotton cloth was from China, Egypt, and India.

Not B because silk was produced in China.

Not C because most of gold came from Africa.
