What are the main functions of federal and state governments?

    The main function of the federal government is to create laws and monitor whether those laws are being enforced in all spheres of the country. In addition, the federal government is responsible for the administration of public companies and the construction and maintenance of interstate highways, railways, international airports, dams and hydroelectric dams is also the responsibility of this governmental sphere, as well as issues related to international relations and trade, regulatory agencies., economic issues such as fiscal policy, exchange rate policy and monetary policy.

    On the other hand, the state government is responsible for commanding the military and civil police and the military fire brigade, building and running state prisons, bodies charged with ensuring public safety and civil defense. In addition, it is the function of the state government to create health policies and to support the implementation of national and municipal policies. The State Government should also build and manage hospitals and facilities such as laboratories, blood centers and care centers for more complex cases and treatments. It is also responsible for infrastructure between cities.
