    These are the 6 (six) guidelines for taking down notes during a field event or a social event. First, you must listen courteously without disturbing the speaker. Second, interfere only when the speaker has lost his idea or the main focus of the event. Third, review all the specifics in your notes with the person who is giving the information. Fourth, the person may give time to deliberate the info you have said and to authenticate it, correct the information or add more info. Fifth, Add additional information or correct the information as desired. Sixth, authenticate all the changes that had been done in your notes with the speaker.
