The conditions that made Georgia favorable for producing rice during the Colonial Era were mainly its coastal position and its workforce.

    Explanation:

For almost two centuries, rice became the most important agricultural activity in Georgia, which became the main producer of rice after South Carolina because of its coastal position that made a propitious environment to raise the rice industry. Rivers played also an important role facilitating the inland cultivation of rice. Another important condition was the workforce, which consisted of many black people, due to the fact that the cultivation of rice is one of the most complicated agricultural activities because of the irrigation systems and the care in each stage from the cultivation to the harvest.
