Do you think Edward Snowden was right to leak secret NSA information about how the government spies on citizens?

    This is of course a subjective question.

    The problem is that the government spied on citizens without their knowledge, and permission, and it is also controversial whether such spying was justified. Edward Snowden's actions have allowed the citizens to take a decision over this and be more in control of their lives, if they wish so, and consequently to have more freedom.

    Because of this, I think that Snowdon's actions were correct - but this is only my own judgment ... Still, what does it mean to have a right? I do think that he had a moral right, but he did not have a legal right - which doesn't say much, sometimes the laws can be flawed.
