Corry, a police officer, is working as an undercover drug agent. He enrolls in computer classes at the local community college where he meets several students in computer science and invites them to come to his house to play some video games. No mention is made of any drugs, but he does say he will have a keg of beer. Shortly after his guests arrive, he gets out some marijuana and offers it to the group. All of them refuse except for Wendy, who has never tried it before. When Corry encourages Wendy to try it and Wendy lights up the joint, Corry arrests Wendy for possession of a controlled substance. Wendy:

a. can use the defense of mistake of fact. b. has no defense to the crime. c. can use the Fifth Amendment to exclude testimony about the marijuana based on her right against self-incrimination. d. can raise the defense of entrapment and argue that Corry has enticed her to commit a crime she would not have done otherwise.

Wendy could actually argue that Corry led her to a trap as away to defend herself from the charge.

    Explanation:

What was previously stated lies on he fact that even though Corry was acting undercover, it was mistaken to lead Wendy to try the substance for his own convenience of the operation, for it can be considered that there can be a level of impartiality despite what can lead to an own convenience as it was Corry's case.
