    Classism relates to discrimination based on social standing and socio economic grouping. E. g. when someone from upper class backgrounds is preferred above one from working class background. It could be at individual level or institutional I. e. when laws and government policies favour higher class over the lower class.

    Where as prejudice against the old would be ageism.
