    The trail of tears refers to the series of events in which white settlers start to take possession of native american's ancestral land and force them to scattered all over the regions.

    As the Natives became scattered, they're divided into smaller group and forced to assimilate with other cultures in their new place. When the next generation was born, the amount of knowledge that they possess about their own culture keep diminishing and replaced with the new cultures.
