    When someone is stressed the functioning power of their immune system which fights diseases or antigens is weakened hence the person becomes vulnerable to infections.

    The hormone secreted into our body during stressful times is responsible for lowering the ability of our immune systems to fight.

    Other contributors to how our immune system get affected are the behaviours that we embark on during this time in order to to copy with stress some people start to drink excessively or smoke.

    Some conditions that may result from stress can be for example headaches, heart related diseases and hypertension (which occurs due to the stress in our circulatory system which raises the blood pressure).
