Gunpowder, tea, and silk were all inventions that were attributed to the Chinese. The Chinese already knew how to make silk as early as 1300 B. C. by making use of the silkworm. It was only later on that they started trading their silk materials with foreigners. Tea was also something that the Chinese started. The tradition of drinking tea started from the Chinese. Lastly, gunpowder was also said to be made by the Chinese but primarily for fireworks during their celebrations. It was the west that discovered how to use gunpowder for firearms.
