Hewlett is attempting to measure spatial intelligence. He creates a special task to measure spatial intelligence and uses it along with other measures of intelligence. His data show that the results from his new task are highly correlated with other measures of intelligence, like memory and language intelligence.     Explanation:Discriminant validity actual gives that proof that constructs which are believed to be unrelated are indeed unrelated. This means there is no overlapping in factors of a study. Convergent validity on the other side proves that the measures of the same construct both indeed shows that the construct are related as expected.

    His data show that the results from his new task are highly correlated with other measures of intelligence, this means they can no longer be discriminated against this measure he is trying to establish.
