How does evaporation differ from condensation?

    Evaporation causes cooling of the remaining liquid water ... condensation is the opposite of evaporation. If the air has even slightly more water vapor than it can hold, the number of water molecules passing from the air into the liquid water is greater than the number passing from the liquid water into the air.

    Evaporation is when a fluid state turns into a gas state. This happens because the heat is gaining more and more process.

    Condensation is when a gas state turns into a fluid state. This happens because the within heat that loses process.
