What contributions were made by the Greeks to literature and theater

    The Greeks made contributions to philosophy, astronomy, and medicine. Theater was important to the Greeks and took their entertainment very seriously. They made theatre more realistic and natural by bringing genres of drama such as comedy, satyr plays, and tragedy. Overall, the contributions were theatre and knowledge such as libraries and the alphabet.
