    In simple words, we can see how punishments or rewards are proportionate to the actions of someone in correspondence to a society where ownership of goods is a highly deemed value.

    The individual liberties are also defended and so, a society like the liberal society will assume that there is "a large amount of fairness in the distribution of goods". This means that punishments should correspond to the level of damage that the offender caused.

    If someone is to consider a world where equal work should provide anyone with an equal outcome, and the terms to live in society, we expect that a crime like homicide should have the highest punishment in contrast to a minor like driving without a license.

    Political liberalism will always foreseek mechanism for distributing justice.

    The ultimate goal of distributive justice is to obtain equality not too much but not too little. - We seek to treat fair and see ourselves and others equally.
