    The impact of the Civil War on Virginia is as follows:

    Economical: As 4.5 million slaves were emancipated from entire America. There was a huge loss of man force post Civil War due to the liberation of slaves which declined the production of cotton and affected plantation system, understood as "cost of the war".

    Societal: High number of casualties resulted into loss of population, raised questions in cities among people regarding citizenship and equal rights as whites.

    Environmental: Due to Civil War the cities were blooded, depressed people were unaware of proper hygiene, food and water. The colonies were devastated post-war and the impact was very brutal to people.

    The primary problems and questions that arose in the immediate aftermath of the war were:

    Equality between whites and blacks, the liberation of slaves, improper functioning of industries and production was affected, medical issues and diseases among children due to unhygienic practices, etc.
