Most people do not report abuse why two reasons

Most people dont report abuse cuase 1. they might think that if they tell the person thats abusing them might abuse them more for snitching on them. 2) they dont want report them to the police because if they tell them they might be even madder nd when they get out their gonna abuse them more

Is there any options i would say because there scared if they tell the perpetrator will harm them more
