In the life of an individual, there are various stages of development starting from when an individual was born to his adult stage of development. In the case of Jenny, due to the fact that she has a job, and can afford the things of life but not being married yet, the stage of development she is in is called spinster stage.

At this stage, she is losing her youth and approaching menopause which would increase the difficulty of her concieving a child. Once this stage passes her without getting married she would enter another stage known as menopause stage in development which would leave her with the only options to adopt childrens.
