I believe the answer is the Psychodynamic approach.

Psychodynamic approach viewed the behavior and emotions that we felt from time to time are influenced by some psychological forces that lies within our subconscious.

This approach usually view individuals to have basis level of personalty type. People with different personality types would provide different responses under similar situation.
