The main duty of behaviour analysts towards their clients is to design all the aspects of the behavior-change program. This includes all the steps from conceptualization, to implementation, to discontinuation. However, in order for these steps to be realistic for the client, the analyst has to take into account many factors, such as unique behaviors, environmental variables, assessment results, and the goals of each client. If the analyst encounters an environmental constraint that might complicate his work, he should seek to eliminate this environmental constraint in order for the program to be effective.
