The Citizens' Council was a southern organization that issued both the flyer and the bumper sticker advertisement. In your opinion, what was the council's attitude toward racial desegregation?

    They were definitely not against slavery. During racial segregation, the south was the land of slavery. Everyone who was against slavery lived in the North. If it is a citizens council, that means it is run by the citizens. Their attitude toward racial desegregation is that it would destroy their economy, so they would be against it.

    Not against slavery. They were definitely for slavery and wanted it to continue.
