Culture is an essential element of organizing in the P-O-L-C framework. Do you think Google has a strong culture? What would it take to make changes in that culture, for better or for worse?

    Answer: Yes Google has a strong culture.

    Explanation: Culture is the way human intellectual achievement is seen in a collective manner. In it simplest form, culture is the people's way of life.

    P-O-L-C which means planning, organizing, leading, and controlling is a key element to culture, as the culture of any firm is seen in it P-O-L-C.

    Google is an American multinational technology company, is rated among the four best technology company's in the world. Google has stood out, as an exceptional company because of it strong culture, which is built on quantitative and qualitative data. Google has one of the highest employment rate and employees who has been interviewed always proved to be satisfied at work, because it's salary, working environment, and staffing is one of the best, which is as a result of the strong culture that is seen. Google has one of the best lunch hour for staff, their work schedules is very flexible for staff, unlock some places where work are always hectic and staff complain of always working overtime with out overtime pay.

    In terms of planning, Google's time table is very enjoyable to staff, as Google believes in the welfare of it's staff, Google has a good time table which shows the working hours, lunch hours and weekend hours.

    In terms of organizing, Google always have staff recruitment and training for old staff to get use to an innovation

    In terms of leading, for years now Google has been one of the best technology company in the world, their have kept improving above every others, to always be at the top.

    In terms of controlling, Google has gained control of it's market, as it has always give a customer satisfaction model. Their do this by diversifying into different aspects which may interest user the more.

    Answer: Yes, I believe wholeheartedly that Google has a strong culture which is admired by internet users all over the world because, to a very great extent, it has served people with quality information and given its employees a foundation to display their talents and contribute ideas to the growth of the company.

    Google is much more interested in enhancing its users' experiences, developing its employees' talents, and making everyone happy; these are the major reasons why Google has always been right at the top. There is no good reason for Google to change its culture. For changes to be made in the culture for the better, both Google's customers and employers would have to start disliking the culture, or they would have to start looking for a better culture: Google would have to lose its top position to its competitors, and start experiencing great loss of profits.
