The Environmental Protection Agency is an organization in charge of regulating how we interact with our environment. This agency stands in the gap to protect the Environment from some harmful activities of man such as: the use of fossil fuels, deforestation, water pollution etc. If the Environmental protection agency were to relax it's rules, timber production would directly increase as a result of constant cutting of trees which would in turn lead to a reduction in price of building materials. But this would all be done at a great cost, as our environment would be badly damaged.
