Round cell, unlike the plant cell that is more rectangular. This is due to the fact that the animal cell lacks a cell wall, it only has a membrane. It also differs from the plant cell in ways such as size of the vacuoles (plant cell vacuole is significantly larger), however the shape is the most popular answer.
