The theory of modeling states that children learn about the world and their place in society by looking at adults and copying their behaviours. In this way, children ensure that their behaviour is accepted in society. Based on this theory, I agree that children can learn violence through modeling. Children observe violence in a great variety of sources and locations nowadays, including movies, video games and music videos. By looking at these sources, children learn that violence is something tolerated or even celebrated in their society, which can lead them to replicate such behaviours.
