Why do you think conflicts arose between people of different religions in some of the colonies? What are some things that they might have disagreed about?

    Though in the United States, religious conflict in the colonies have not reached the scale observed earlier in Europe, the diverse colonists that have settled in North America have brought certain religious conflicts with them.

One of the most pronounced religious prosecutions were undertaken by Anglicans against Baptists and Presbyterians in Virginia in 1770th. The disagreement occurred mainly because these Christian denominations have specific differences in beliefs. For example:

    Anglicans believe that everyone can reach salvation, while Presbyterians do not share this belief. Anglicans believe in the Sacrifice of the Mass, while Presbyterians and Baptist do not.
