As the display monitor increases in size, the spatial resolution would decrease if the matrix size remains the same.

    Explanation:

In order to achieve a better resolution, the size of the matrix has to be increased with the increase in size of the display monitor. The pixel density of the monitor depends on the size of the matrix and not on the size of the display. An increase in the size of the matrix would automatically increase the resolution of the monitor as the pixel density would be increased.
