Sustainable development may be characterised in several respects, but in the end it aims to preserve producers, land, and societies by encouraging sustainable, ecological safe, and community-friendly agricultural processes and procedures ... This builds from and teaches from sustainable cultivation.

Several primary sustainable agriculture practises have evolved through decades of research and experience - for instance:

    Crop substitution, and variety welcome

    The cultivation of crop rotation

    Lowering or preventing tillage

    Including cattle and vegetables

    Adopting activities surrounding agroforestry etc
