    Explanation: David-Moore's thesis also called David-Moore's hypothesis refers to a theory on social stratification which argues that, the most difficult tasks in the society seems to be because most important. David-Moore believes tasks like this require compensation or reward in other to motivate people to perform or solve these tasks. Hence, social stratification should be based be based on an individual accomplishment and relevance to the society, people who take up and execute important societal reforms and not based on ascribed titles, wealth or other stratification principles which do not impact on addressing societal problems.
