"I should make assumptions regarding his or her feelings." and "I should interview an adolescent along with his or her parents."

    Explanation:

The nursing student still does not know that, when interviewing an adolescent, they need to talk to them as straight and clear as possible because if you take in consideration the adolescent feelings, you'll be afraid of hurting them and that can cause a bigger problem.

The nursing student need to understand that they have to interview the adolescent alone, because if he/she is with their parents, they will almost always talk for them and will not let the adolescent give you the information you really need.
