    Officially, under its 2011 constitution, the government of Burma is unitary parliamentary republic iwth elected president and active parliament. However its military has extremely high power influence to the leading of the country adn implementation of human rights and civil liberties.

    Explanation:

    Burma was under military dictatorship regime from 1962 till 2011 and its liberalisation started in 2010. The first independent elections were held in 2015. Despite of elections, military continued its abuses of civil libertes under new government and since 2017, more than half a million Muslim Rohingyas were displaced and forced to flee to Bangladesh anhod tse who remained were killed and tortured.

    United Nations called these actions a "textbook example of ethnic cleansing" and crimes are well documented by number of human rights organisations including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.

    The government type of Myanmar is parliamentary. It's led by a political party that's military-backed. The human rights in Myanmar under the military regime are regarded as one of the worst in the globe. Many human rights organizations have condemned the glaring human rights violations in the country.
