How did John Calvin's ideas take place in the American colonies?

John Calvin's ideas came from the Reformation which became well-known because of Martin Luther. He was able to base Protestantism theology solely with the scriptures. The Reformation was all about Christian way of living in a society became an influence to American colonies.
