    A film form can be described as the a viewer's total system perception of a film or movie. To write, talk or analyze a movie, there must be a clear understanding of all the components that make up the film; also known as the elements of film form. The five elements of film form in no actual order are sound design, editing, visual design, literary design, and cinematography. When you try to analyze these five elements of a movie, then you are actually analyzing the film form.
