A researcher is planning an experiment that requires S. cerevisiae in late exponential (log) phase, when its OD600 will be ~0.7. The researcher knows that S. cerevisiae have a doubling time of 90 minutes under the conditions that she is using. It's currently 10 AM, and her culture is in early log phase and has an OD600 of 0.2. When will her cultures be ready for the experiment? (Note: This is a real-life situation that the teaching staff deals with on a routine basis.)
