Burakumin people in Japan are a small group of community known with jobs relating to tanning and slaughter. Since the act of killing animals is against the Buddhism or Shinto beliefs, the people were naturally looked down upon and established an outcast status. It is important to note however that the racialization is out because of clashing beliefs instead of their ethnicity alone.
