Elder law is made specifically to accommodate elder people who are aware that they would eventually face their death, and their physical and mental would start to deteriorate over the years.

    the answer is:

    - drawing up a will.

This is important for the transfer of the their asset after they die.

    - making application for a guardianship.

This is important if they think that they will leave underage children by the time of their death. Application of guardianship would determine who can act as the new 'parent' for these children.

    - completing advance directives.

Advance directives is made so the elders could pre-determine the treatment that the elders must receive for their care and what can be done to their body after they die.

    - protection of older workers

This is made to ensure that the place where they work wouldn't take advantage of them in their pension years.
