As a beginning investor, why is it unlikely that you would receive direct voting rights at a company in which you purchased stock?

    Because you just started trading and the company is yet to know your fully ability in trading stock. When. Your stock grows, then you will be fully knows as a successful shareholder with a good number of shares.
