My personal answer for a type of nonverbal communication or body language that prevents me from communicating effectively with somebody would it be The deaft - mute language, I have built a conversation before using the deaft - mute language but I have not made a long conversation because the fact that it is a body language that i'm not familiar with

An example in my case, I met a person who tried to have a conversation with me using the deaft - mute language at the lunch time at the job, It was interesting because besides of the fact that I couldn't communicate correctly he was understanding my words by reading my lips so we could made a conversation.
