Which of the following statements are true about experiments? Check all that apply. Group of answer choices The researcher deliberately imposes some treatment on the subjects in order to observe their responses. A well-designed experiment can provide convincing evidence for a cause-and-effect relationship between two variables. Sometimes the treatment group is compared to a control group where the variable of interest involves a treatment that was self-imposed by the subjects and not administered by the researcher. The goal of a well-designed experiment is to learn about an entire population by asking questions of a group drawn from the population. All except the 3rd statement

    Explanation:

    Experiments

A researcher is always in charge of the research, he or she is responsible for the activities and patterns carried out in the course of the research. All research variables are defined by the researcher and the objectives are set by him, the reason why the 3rd statement is wrong is because treatments are self imposed by the subject which is wrong, if it is part of the objective the researcher has, yes it can be self imposed but only by the researcher, because the aim and objective of a research is very important and must not be altered.
