    Role-related behavior refers to the behavior that driven by expectation that other people have toward us within a specific environment.

    For example, Let's say that Laura is happily a married woman woman with 2 children who works as a general manager in an automobile company.

    In her house, her children know her as a caring and compassionate mother but in her workplace she is known for being strict and efficient.

    These two difference is caused by role-related behavior. She is expected by their children to nurture and protect them. But in her workplace, the expectation is different. She is expected to lead her team and ensure that they do their jobs.
