    During this time, the united States provided a lot of lands with low prices. Which invited a lot of immigrants who seeks for business opportunities. The majority of the immigrants come from Ireland, which accounted for around 33% of the total immigrants in that year.

    - The second major wave of immigration occurred in 1880

    At this time, Industrial revolution started to came into United States, which lead to the creation of many factories. The majority of immigrants come from east and central Europe seeking for employment at these factories.
